can you tie a rope to a hunting arrow and when it hits a pig you can pull the rope and hold the pig. If the pig gets away you would also cause a bigger wound by pulling the arrow and you can get the arrow back too.
I was thinking you could even use strong fishing wire, do you think this is possible.

Any rope strong enough to stop the pig, would keep your arrow from flying, if you could launch a rope like that, the arrow would be pulled off course. I don't think this would work.

Don't do it. you may get hurt. But you would give the people that want to stop hunting more ammunition to use against us. Stick to our traditional ways. If we don't stick together, they will take this away from our kids and grand kids.
Dont do it you will get hurt and if its a 200 pound pig good luck and get ready for a rodeo.

That pig is gonna yank yo ass out of the tree and eat you!
Make sure if you try it that you get it on video, it will be funny to see that pig getting revenge.

just think of the the line being tangled up 10 feet from the bow....there is a lot of energy in that arrow.......it will come back straight at you.......good luck surviving that........thats why when they have bowfishing rigs they use lighter weight lines..........
