Dumb Bowhunting Question from Rookie?

I am going to purchase the Bear Element bow this week. It tops out at 300 fps, and I'm getting the 60# drawback. This may be a stupid question, but will this bow be powerful enough to kill deer and boar?

My bow is set at 47 pounds and all but one shot was a complete pass through, so i would say that 60 pounds is more than adequate for deer and boar.Just be sure your comfortable at that draw weight, adjust up or down until your comfortable and consistent.

I think so. I asked about Boar hunting and some people posted that they had killed boar with bows.
