When I was in UT - I was in a group with a bunch of women, talkin' about our belief in God.. I said "I'm not sure if he even cares, or hears me.." Right after I said that, I saw a bright orb light fall from the heavens through a bunch of clouds - it shot across the desert horizion for 3 seconds.. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I KNEW IT WAS a sign from GOD. I knew that was his way of reassuring me that someone did care..
Nothing that has ever happened to me before. I was the only one who saw this.. I know it was a special meaning. I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SHOOTING STAR, ETC. :)
It doesn't matter how you position yourself. The only thing that you must do while praying is be completely focused on God and what you're asking of him.

Some religions preach that you have to be on you knees, other say you have to keep you head covered. Me? I say just bow your head and close your eyes for the informal prayers.

That is awesome!
You don't have to bow or even close your eyes!
You can just sit comfortably to pray or even take a walk
and pray!
I find that folding my hands or arms helps me concentrate
better if I am sitting, though.
Sometimes being on your knees with your hands folded
on a chair is appropriate. It needs to be comfortable
and in a way that helps you take it seriously.
You can put a pillow beneth your knees to be
comfortable. Yes, bowing can be very appropriate
and closing your eyes can be as well!
You don't have to face any certain direction, though!

Disregard it, if it happened in Utah. Demons sent by Satan put on little light-displays to keep individuals and groups believing in Mormonism. Besides, what makes you think that light display was intended for you, or had the meaning you think. Orbs shooting across for exactly 3 seconds means the viewer dies in 1 month's time, that's the REAL meaning of it, okay?
