I have been loaned a Martin bow, and I dont want to do too much work to the bow. My draw length is longer then the owners. Should I have the bow reset or purchase longer arrows?

a cheaper route would be to use a release with a wrist strap and an adjustment, also consider an adding a loop to the string..... a good bow shop could add one ....these will give you maybe a inch .......just give yourself a consistent anchor point............if a bow shop can lengthen the draw length then that would be the best route............just remember that if you change the draw length, the arrow spine weight may have to change also.....yes really..the bow shop is the best route

ask the owner.... youll never get optimum performance out of yourself or the bow shooting one that doesnt fit... its lust like playing football in a pair of cleats that are too small or too big shure you can still play but your gonna suck alot worse than most and your game will def... suffer from it.... shoot a bow that fits you BC if you dont it could cause you to miss the animal of your life

Longer arrows would not help. The bow has a stopping point called a back wall that you can't pull past. If the bow is set for a shorter draw length, You need to take it to an archery shop and have the draw length changed. It shouldn't be to expensive.
