First of all, what's up with the Sox?

Secondly, there are many scents, deer calls, etc. at the hunting stores or dept. stores that help attract deer. I got 'em out back, along with turkeys, moose and bear.

Be safe. Be ethical.

the best advise i can give you is to:1 use a scent blocker [ deer have very good noses ] 2 take your time getting to your stand [you would be surprised where deer bed down at night] 3 while in your stand be very still, if you have to move try to do it slowly [ deer also have very good eyes ] 3 be patient ,many times i was just about to give up and call it quits for the day and saw deer 15 yds from me. 4 do your homework try to find out where the deer bed down, find a well used trail and set up about 20-30 yds away, use an attractant like tinks and hang some cotton balls with 2-3 drops of it around you stand @ 3-4 feet off the ground. quiet and be still, then wait . stay calm [ 2 yrs ago i shot a nice 4 point with my bow while i was in a fence row where i sat for 2 hrs he came out down wind from me , when i shot him he was standing less than 10 feet from me] scent elimination,Patience, and be quiet!!!!!
i hope you will have a well placed shot and good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not, and I repeat NOT use doe in heat scent in the early bow season. Attracting scents should only be used during or very close to the rut. If you use any scent at all use a mild deer musk, this won't necessarily attract deer but it won't scare them off either, if anything it is used to invoke curiosity. Try to set up your stand near a natural food source that the deer are actively using, this could be a farm field, apple tree, acorns, persimmon etc. Keep in mind the big bucks won't show up to the food source until late in the evening. If you want to intercept them find a funnel point in between bedding and feeding areas.
Good luck
