Default Paintball marker maintenance tips?

Hi iam new to paintball, i've played it before but never really owned a marker until now and i really dont know the basics of what should be the proper and basic ways to give it maintenance. I bought the rap4 t68 m4 marker so i know this makes it even more complicated i think. I just want to know the most "basic" things to clean and stuff, any other tips are greatly appreciated, thanks

Normal maintainence involves cleaning the barrel and out surfaces. Put 1 drop of oil in the bottle adapter and dry fire the gun in a safe place outside. You only need to remove the bolt and internal every so often 1-2 times a year depending on use. Use the manual... inspect and clean all orings, lightly oil upon reassembly. If you don't feel confident doing it the first time take it to a local shop and have them assist you.

Basic Maintenance is wiping off any paint splatter, putting a drop or two of teflon airgun oil into the ASA before screwing in your air tank, and always de-pressurizing your gun when you won't be shooting it for a while.

Intermediate Maintenance is required if your gun chops a paintball, a ball breaks in the barrel, or in general, once every 10 or 20 games. For this, you remove the barrel, loader and bolt, and make sure all parts are clean and oiled (same airgun oil as Basic). Be sure not to have parts left over, and keep track of where things go, if you're not very experienced. Also part of Intermediate Maintenance is checking the o-ring seals in the gun and tank, to make sure they're not becoming worn (or damaged) and replacing them if they are.

Advanced should be left to actual airsmiths (gunsmiths who focus on airguns). Most people don't have what it takes to disassemble a regulator or tank valve, and most also don't have the tools to do it safely. So leave this to a professional.

As for the gun oil, I put the link to the oil sold by the manufacturer of your paintball gun. After all, who would know better what oil to use?
