Default taking hunting equipment across borders?

i want to travel to thailand on foot, starting in england, through europe then ukraine then a bit of russia, and then across the length of kazakhstan, moving down into china, then through Laos and finally into thailand.
but was wondering about taking hunting gear across these borders, obviously i wont be taking guns. but wondered about say a machete, blowgun, and crossbow. are these things you would be allowed to take if you explain the reasons for having such equipment. thanks in advance.
beeds the only countries i can think of you meaning are kazakhstan, china, laos and thailand. would you please give more details seems i cant IM you. thanks

You would have to check with every country, every province and every district etc because they will vary a great deal.

But I must warn you that you are placing your life in extreme danger. Some of the places you want to hike through have people who will kill you just for the hell of it, people who will kill you for what you have, people who will kill you because of many, many, reasons. I know this because I had many friends volunteer to do charity work in some of those countries. Some just vanished, some were killed and their bodies’ drug around for fun and others locked in prisons for life. In fact every few years I get a letter from a lady who went on a hike through China in the early 1980s. She was sent to prison for life because some found the Bibles and contraband she was handing out. Funny thing is she was not a Christian but an atheist.
You also have no idea how many ruthless criminals there are in those nations. Hiking alone is just asking to die.

MORE;
You have to understand that there are people so poor in those countries that they would kill you for your belonging. Also there are people who travel in gangs along roads robbing and killing locals as well as foreigners. A crossbow is a deadly weapon and china would not let you travel about with one, Russia may not as well. And as for hunting that’s a big no no unless you pay all the costs for licenses and guides otherwise its poaching and that can land you in prison for a few decades at hard labor.
From what you asked in your question its clear you don’t know much about all this. Most who travel through such countries contact the embassy or government travel agency as to the laws and safe areas of travel. There are rebels, military conflicts and civil unrest all over the place you would have to avoid. I am not any expert on such things, just have some info from friends who travel all the time.

If you are set on this travel in a group after you get all the clearance from that country and do not carry anything of value. Even then you are still risking your life.

And you can find similar deaths in every country you listed.

Yes. If you put them in your hand luggage, be sure they will fit into the maximum size allowance.
