please help me in a paintball gun what is a o ring?

i am just starting to get interested into paintball and about to buy my first gun i have heard about something called a o ring where is it located in a gun y is it there do i ever need to change it and when do i need to change it and when will i know when to change it please help me i am despret!!?!!??!??!

It is on the co2 canister its the little rubber band and if it breaks even the slightest you need to replace it or else the co2 will leak.

um orings are everywhere on ur gun even the barrel, some r for grip, idk really no wat the others r for, but if u hear a leaking its probably because an oring is chipped, missing, or theyr not enough/too much lube in ur gun. if u take apart ur gun you could examine the o rings and c if theyr chipped or not, maybe in a bad condition. the manual tells u where all the o rings r
