Default Wedding colors to go with camouflage groom and groomsmen?

I have always wanted my wedding colors to be a jewel tone blue and green. The only request my fiance has is that the tuxes be black with camouflage vests and ties. I know the green would go well but I really wanted the bridesmaids to have the dark blue dresses.

Any ideas on coordinating colors or how to make my colors work?

Hi,
I agree that there should be no Camo, I think it would look tacky, and will over power everything else.. I wouldnt go with any kinda print, just solids.. remember the pictures will be looked at for years to come! you want it to be timeless.
Try to incorporate it into something else.. like do a camo cake with little army men or something.
Good luck!

you write: how to make my colors work?

One suggestion? Tell fiance to grow up. Camouflage has its place, and its place is not at a wedding.

Get his mother to talk some sense into him. I am sure she can explain that camouflage is not the elegant look for which bride is striving.

If he absolutely insists on camo at the wedding, he can have a camo groom's cake at the reception.

I am sure that you and his mother can find some way to explain that this is your wedding . . . not the "My Big Redneck Wedding" TV show.

And yes, this is just my opinion. And I am entitled to my opinion. And I don't care if I get a lot of thumbs down, LOL.
